Established in 1990 as a non-profit scale modeling club, IPMS Hampton Roads
Scale Modelers became a chartered chapter of IPMS USA Region II as of 1997.
Our purpose is to promote an interest in the hobby of scale modeling
throughout the greater Hampton Roads Virginia area.
We welcome modelers of all ages and skill level. Whether you want to learn
techniques to start building models or to improve your talents the
Hampton Roads Scale Modelers should have something of particular interest
to share with you.
We believe in our motto "Creating Learning Sharing." We believe in having
a fun time with our fellow modelers and in building models for fun and enjoyment.

Our meeting starts at pm
and ends at 9:00 pm.
Our monthly meetings are designed to focus on all aspects of this hobby by
providing a forum for members and modelers to share ideas, information and
techniques. The meetings agenda consists of business, show and tell of recent
models either underway
or
completed, model building demonstration and a raffle.
